Alex grew up in Ohio, and graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University in April 2004 with a degree in Elementary Education. After graduation, he moved to Horseheads to find a teaching job.  During the 2004-05 school year he worked as a teacher's assistant at Center St. School in Horseheads, NY. He began serving part-time at Big Flats Wesleyan Church in January 2005. Then he became full-time Director of Children's and Youth Ministry in June 2005. He was ordained as a  pastor in October 2010.  He is married to Chiara who grew up at BFWC. They have 3 children, ages 7, 5, and 1.

As a pastor, Alex has been active in bringing together the youth pastors and youth leaders from many area churches of various denominations.  He leads a youth leaders breakfast once a month.  For more information on the time and location contact Pastor Alex.
